Quality New Homes

We are proposing to demolish the existing buildings located on the site and build 33 new homes, made up of 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom dwellings. 

As part of the development we will also be delivering 8 affordable units (25%), which is in line with Bracknell Forest Council’s policy. These homes will be a combination of affordable rent and shared ownership units.

The Spitfire Quality

Much like our Jardin development, the new homes will be designed to reflect the character of the area creating a cohesive and visually appealing extension to the village. Spitfire is an award-winning housebuilder with a focus on quality bespoke family homes.

The range of houses provided on this site will ensure a vibrant community feel, with homes for large and small families, young couples or downsizers. New residents will not only contribute to the nearby community, but to life across Binfield.

Space to Relax

The garden wall which historically links the site back to Binfield Manor will be retained, whilst the scheme will also include areas of open space which will be accessible to the public. This will ensure an attractive new space for existing residents to walk through and spend time – the type of space which is not currently available on the site.

A Sustainable Location

The proposed development site is located to the east of the village and will be accessed from Forest Road. Positioned along the village’s main arterial road, residents will have easy access to local bus stops to both Binfield and to neighbouring Bracknell or nearby Wokingham, Maidenhead or Reading – with access to railway stations and the motorway network.

Binfield itself has a range of local amenities including cafes, restaurants and shops. The neighbouring Stag and Hounds Pub is just a few minutes’ walk away, supporting the feeling of community in the area.

The new Kings Academy Education campus, due to open in September 2018, is located opposite the site and offers schooling from pre-school through to 6th form.
